Resilient people see setbacks and giants in the land as something they can conquer! Something that can bring them into greatness, rather than taking away what they already have! In Numbers 13 the spies see the giants as something bigger than God – something they cannot overcome. Caleb and Joshua did not share their negativity. They knew they could conquer them. They knew that their God was bigger than the greatest thing they could ever come up against. They knew that they were well able to conquer these giants and take the land.
